El calendario laboral de este año cuenta con 12 días festivos y otros dos más de carácter local
El calendario laboral de la Comunidad de Madrid para el presente año 2020 contará con 12 días festivos, a los que hay que añadir otros dos más, de carácter local, fijados por los respectivos ayuntamientos de la región.
Dentro del conjunto de fiestas nacionales reguladas por el Real Decreto 2001/1983, en su artículo 45 se distinguen tres tipos de festivos. Por una parte, las fiestas no sustituibles, aquellas otras que las comunidades autónomas pueden sustituir por fiestas propias, y un tercer supuesto en el que las autonomías también puedan cambiar por fiestas propias las fiestas nacionales cuya celebración haya de trasladarse a lunes por coincidir en domingo.
El calendario de 2020 contempla este supuesto en la festividad del 1 de noviembre (Todos los Santos) que se trasladará al lunes 2 de noviembre.
Asimismo, la festividad del 6 de diciembre (día de la Constitución Española) se trasladará al lunes 7 de diciembre.
La Comunidad de Madrid tiene además declarada como fiesta propia el 2 de mayo, que en 2020 caerá en sábado.
Con estas alternativas posibles, y dada la tradición de fiestas como la Epifanía o el Jueves Santo, el Gobierno regional decidió sustituir para este año la fiesta de San José para poder declarar festivo el 2 de mayo, Día de la Comunidad de Madrid. La decisión se tomó tras consultar a los grupos parlamentarios de la Asamblea de Madrid, a la Iglesia católica y a las instituciones económicas y sociales representativas en la Comunidad de Madrid.
Así, en 2020 los festivos que tendrán lugar en la región, a excepción de las dos festividades que corresponde a cada ayuntamiento fijar, serán los siguientes:
– 1 de enero (miércoles), Año Nuevo.
– 6 de enero (lunes), Epifanía del Señor.
– 9 de abril, Jueves Santo.
– 10 de abril, Viernes Santo.
– 1 de mayo (viernes), Fiesta del Trabajo.
– 2 de mayo (sábado), Fiesta de la Comunidad de Madrid.
– 15 de agosto (sábado), Asunción de la Virgen.
– 12 de octubre (lunes), Fiesta de la Hispanidad.
– 2 de noviembre (lunes), traslado del día de Todos los Santos.
– 7 de diciembre (lunes), traslado del día de la Constitución Española.
– 8 de diciembre (martes), Inmaculada Concepción.
– 25 de diciembre (viernes), Natividad del Señor.
